    Hey doc, you are mispronouncing huntinman. Down here in the south we don't go hunt-eeng, we go huntin'. Therefore, I am huntinman.

    Come on down some time and we will show you the difference between hunt-eeng and huntin'.

    "Fixin ta" is not just a Texas thang.

    I grew up in MO....We was always "fixin' ta" do sumpin'.

    Now, in WI, it's "fixin ta'....ya hey dare!!"

    I still say "fixin' ta" in Pa, and nobody seems to notice. I think its a universal thang nowadays. One thing I hear in Pittsburgh and nowhere else is, "redd up". As in get ready for something.
