Locally they are stating that using MLK as a snow makeup day makes a city racist. Get real. Even you should realize that is just stupid.
President's day is also gone. Last year Memorial day was used.
Often MLK is a makeup day but not used because we don't often have weather days that early in the year.
We also have makeup days scheduled for earlier in the year that end up not being used. Those days are there for tropical weather.
