Actually looking at the front view. It was wise to cover up the statue. I think the blue rectangular back drop does not divert attention. The statue straight behind the speaker would have been distracting Pete

Yeah, I have to agree.
Having a memorial to a man who put it all on the line for this republic's existence and helped epitomize "sacred honor" in the background, would have totally distracted from the message/image this group was trying to purvey.

And when I'm joking, I don't expect to be taken seriously. And most of what I say here is joking. The fun part is when people don't realize that and get a bee in their bonnet over nothing.
