took all 4 for a long walk on the beach, despite 30+ mph winds. it's the only safe place to exercise them now. still 2 feet of crusty snow that won't support their weight. parking lots are strewn with ice patches, as well.

i hope March serves up better weather......-Paul
there's no good reason to fatten up a retriever.

Oh. I really do not miss that crusty snow and the cut pads that can go along with it. Just airing the dogs can be a nightmare. They can take weeks to heal because they just keep splitting them back open even on leash.

I am recovering from pneumonia & laryngitis so my bored dogs that have had no work in weeks helped husband cleam up downed limbs off the fences, repair broken boards, drag brush and downed limbs & trees to the brush pile in preparation for a rather large bonfire as soon as conditions are right.

I threw a few bumpers and my wife took Dixie for a walk. Can't seem to find the time to do much more than that right now.

Kind of a buzz-kill, but spent the w/e helping to recover the daughter of a friend who apparently took a large dose of anti-depressants, and took a stroll onto the frozen Allegheny River. Hasn't been seen since last Monday. A very beautiful 20 year old college student who seemingly had the whole world ahead of her.

Hug your kids and tell them you love them.

I am just kind of curious, what the hell prompted you to post that here?

You asked what we did with our dogs this weekend, didn't you? that's what I did.

Why do you ask a question, then ask why someone answers it?
