    Default Nascar

    Anyone follow this?

We had a POTUS FFL, would there be any interest in a POTUS Fantasy Nascar league??

You get to chose 3 drivers every week.
Entries must be in by Wednesday morning.
    First come first served.

    EX:

    JR
    Kyle Busch
    Mark Martin.

Then, you next get to choose from the rest.

    I like;
    Bowyer
    Biffle
    Harvick

    PTS: 43 for 1st, 42 for 2nd,,,,etc.

    Anyone interested??

Don't know about your suggestion, but I found the push techniques used with the newly resurfaced track very boring. This is not what racing should be about. It should be about individual drivers and cars, not who has the best push techniques. This whole restricter plate racing, which originated back in the 80s when Bill Elliot was dominating Talladega, was intended to counter speeds and to (theoretically) increase competition. But what it has done is take the racing out of the sport. The sport is now more about partnerships, teams and, unfortunately, has become less about racing, individual drivers and cars. JMO, of course.....

Boring? As Rodney Dangerfield would say, "Tough crowd...tough crowd."

74 lead changes, 22 different leaders, 16 cautions and two green/white finishes. It was a pretty exciting race to me. Different strokes, I reckon.

Na$car before the COT and the chase and now the new points system wasn't bad. The attempt to manufacture made for TV moments has pretty much made it un-interesting in my view. Those that still watch, I hope you get some enjoyment out of it.

BTW, I rarely, if ever, watch it anymore, but if I am around a TV when the Bristol night race is on, I will watch.

Sunday's race was a perfect example of why parity in sport doesnt work...Parity is a nice word for socialism...by making all the cars equal level, all it took was one big wreck to take out the big name players and you ended up with a reluctant winner, who didnt have the best car, and only led six laps...and fortunately they were the last six laps

Happy for the Wood Bros. with all they have meant to NASCAR...but did not like the outcome
