Default Strategic Oil Reserve & Other Related Issues

The current adminstration is putting the option on the table.

Is this a ploy in an attempt to get speculators to bid the PPB down or do you think they are serious? How much will the tax payer have to pay to replentish our reserve?

Saudis have agree to produce more in offsetting the concerns over Libyan oil. This has yet to show any affect on the PPB.

On another note, Gietner references danger to "global economy". Shouldn't he be concerned with the "USA economy" first and foremost? Afterall, it is thier policy that has placed us in this situation of rising gasoline prices.

Do you remember during the election that he said that we would again build nuclear power plants to provide electricity? You want to tell me where the first shovel of dirt has been turned. He also argued that it would take 10 years to get oil to market if we began to drill again. Want to take a guess when the next nuclear power plant generates? You think maybe when hell freezes over or maybe after Obama is out of office?

    Funny topic.

Today at Upland training we were looking at the beautiful peice of land we train on.

We determined that the difference between Conservatives and "Middle of the Road Independents," (progressive liberals) was to us we see serene beauty, a nice place to train, maybe duck hunt and just enjoy.

The "Middle of the Road Independents," (progressive liberals) would see a terrific spot for 50 wind mills.

If the voters wake up, and elect a conservative agenda and the representatives to implement it, and the leadership to sign it into law, we could have those wheels moving by 2014. This will require lots of ACLU hammering, along with stomping on the environmental whackos.

When those type of comments are uttered, the left goes bananas and always believes we conservatives are in favor of dirty water and air, and clear cuts in forrests, along with leaking wells of oil and NG. (Of course, let just one such well out of a gazillion actually leak, and the press is consumed by it, scaring the hell outa everyone. Gotta wonder where those same reporters that lambasted Valdez are now that their chosen one has gotten out of the clean up in the Gulf???)

Much like unionization, there was a time for many of the environmental laws to be enacted. But now, we have the tail wagging the dog. The pendulum has swung way too far left, and both functionaries are strangling the nations ability to survive. The next election can't come soon enough.

Another wonderful Monday morning with both WTI and Brent much, much higher. No doubt the entire country will see $4 gas this summer thanks to the leftists and enviromental moonbats and with the Day of Rage upon us this Friday in the Kingdom maybe we'll see $200 oil and $8 gas. Print, Ber-Nank, print!!!

The entire country will suffer tremendously with higher energy prices but I'm sure little Barack will continue with his twice weekly kobe steak dinner party at the White House and his 6 to 8 summer vacations with his family. Why should he care about anybody else...he's earned it.

    We're doomed with this crew.

    We live in Cuba now.
