Did Scott Walker and the Kochs overplay their hand in Wisconsin?

David Koch and Rupert Murdoch have conspired with Scott Walker against the workers of Wisconsin and indeed against the workers of the USA.

"As part of AlterNet’s coverage of the Kochs and Murdoch over the last two years, they reported how Koch’s Americans for Prosperity Foundation synced an annual conference with Glenn Beck’s rally last summer at the Lincoln Memorial, offering discounted hotel rooms and bus travel to attendees, as well as day-long shuttle service between the conference hotel and the rally.
Perhaps you remember the collusion reported between Americans for Prosperity and Fox News in creating the furor that pushed Van Jones from the White House.
You may also recall our report on a 2009 Americans for Prosperity Foundation conference at which one-third of the speakers on a 15-speaker plenary agenda were on the payroll of a Murdoch entity. Two of those speakers, John Fund and Stephen Moore, hail from the Wall Street Journal; Moore sits on the newspaper’s editorial board. So it should come as no surprise to find both Fund and Moore carrying Koch’s water in this fight."

I was the one that requested the quotation marks and references....let's just say RP and I dont read from the same websites and blogs....

personally here on POTUS , I respect someone who states their own personal opinion and uses an article to back up their claim on facts and statistics....I get tired of reading other op ed pieces from those on the right or left..I can do that on my own..talk to me in your own language, not written by some other journalist..I want to know what you think,that is if you have a personal or original thought

If we were out having lunch or even dog training...tell me what YOU know or what YOU think...not what Rex Carr was thinking...if I wanted to know that I would just call Lanse and ask him what Rex really meant

IMO - the MSM, their friends the union thugs & the overcompensated public employees hope they can convince enough people that is how it happened

. But as most know, most honest folk will make the correct choice given the facts.

I don't figure 100K showing for a rally with 300K public employees in the state is indicative of the attitude of most. I would lay odds that less than 1/2 actually were employed in WI.

Last Sunday Parade had a listing of "What People Make". The majority of 40K to 100+K jobs were in the public sector. The 17K to 35K & Mil jobs were in the private sector. Who pays for those 40K to 100+K positions, those making 17K to 35K & the Mil folks w/o bennies.

I used to subscribe to New Yorker, the magazine was edgy & mostly well written with great cartoons. Henrik Herzberg got to be too much to take so I no longer subscribe & support their efforts. I can pick up enough of their best stuff at the local library for 12 copies for $1. So they lost my support as did the WSJ when Al Hunt was a editorial page correspondent. Like you Roger, your jokes are OK but the rest of your stuff originated on another planet. Do you tell your customers how wierd you are????????
