"Judge Sumi's personal bias
Ethel C. Fenig
Well, well, well! What a surprise. Not! The blog Freedom Eden has discovered some interesting personal background on Wisconsin's Judge Maryann Sumi, the very judge who issued a temporary restraining order prohibiting Wisconsin Secretary of State Doug La Follette from publishing Act 10, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker's (R) law limiting collective bargaining for state employees.
Judge Sumi has a son, Jake Sinderbrand. And Sinderbrand works for...the AFL-CIO and the SEIU: The very unions which would be adversely affected by the law. Naturally, Sinderbrand doesn't think much of Walker, "I wonder how this guy passed kindergarten math" is one of the kindest comments on his facebook page.
So, following the example of those screeching liberals demanding that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas remove himself from trials on the legality of Obamacare because of his wife's opposition to it, shouldn't Judge Sumi excuse herself from the decision? Sumi's son is much more involved with the case than Thomas' wife.
Just askin'............."

"Judge Sumi’s Husband Donated to Three of Badger 14(the FleeBaggers)
by Media Trackers
There was already cause for Judge Maryann Sumi to have recused herself in the collective bargaining lawsuit since her son, Jake Sinderbrand is a former employee of the AFL-CIO and SEIU, now more conflict of interests have been discovered.
Judge Sumi’s husband, Carl Sinderbrand donated to the campaigns of three of the “Badger 14″: Dave Hansen, Jim Holperin and Robert Wirch. Additionally Sinderbrand donated to Tom Barrett in his fight against Scott Walker for the governorship.
Judge Sumi’s family has a history of strong ties to unions and a pattern of financially supporting only democratic candidates. This is not the impartiality Wisconsin deserves on the bench."

La Follette wants appeal in collective bargaining case dropped
9:14 a.m.
MADISON (AP) - Secretary of State Doug La Follette is asking the Wisconsin Supreme Court to drop the appeal made in his name of a judge’s order putting on hold the enactment of the law restricting union bargaining powers.
La Follette asked the high court on Wednesday to withdraw the appeal which had been made in his name by the state Department of Justice. La Follette has since gotten his own attorney because he said he disagreed with the position taken by DOJ and he opposes the law.
The Supreme Court has yet to say whether it will take the appeal, which seeks to undo a judge’s ordering barring La Follette from publishing the law and allowing it to take effect.
A spokesman for DOJ declined to comment.
