The GOP might have a small victory here but, by adding abortion to the debate they will lose the war in 2012. How stupid could they be? They had the Dems beat over the economy, budget and deficit yet they just couldn't help themselves, they had to throw abortion into the debate. This isssue will rally the hardcore dems and moderates. There aren't enough anti-abortion votes to get the GOP within miles of the White House!

Bring on the Libetarians, they are the only ones serious about the budget and deficit. Ryan budget plan still leaves us with an estimated 10 TRILLION deficit while Paul's budget plan eliminates it in 5 to 6 years. Plus. unlike the GOP, the Libetarians are against big brother government!

The fact that they attacked any part of it means it is an issue. An issue that will be used against the GOP in 2012. Why couldn't the just stay on message? The Tea Party was suppose to be about cutting the deficit. The more issues they add to thier agenda, they more divided they become.

To me, abortion isn't about a mistake that happened on a date. If anti-abortionist numbers are correct and that there have been 40 million, you can bet 30 million would be on government welfare! Adding to the millions already on Gov's teat.

Call abortion whatever you want to. Want to grow the welfare class, then abolish it and add billions more to the deficit!
