    And its misleading to "average" the debt increase. That's cumulative, not averaged in the ledger books. You made W look better than he really was.

    What would have been interesting would have been some analysis by yourself. What conclusions would you draw from that raw data?

    Here's mine - Though Clinton gets credit for a balanced budget he negelected the Armed Forces - Maybe the defense spending contributes more than some would like to believe.

    While not happy with either Reagan or the Bush's lack of using the veto pen apparently that defense spending adds something to the pot . Though I believe it could be toned down some.

    Like Bill posted, the O person's record will be interesting. Funny money regards.

    I believe one also has to look at who had control of congress during those presidencies!
