This is not even close to what got POTUS shut down the first time.

As the primaries progress, if some others drop out & give their support to Cain, that could change, I think.

This way too tough a question for the extreme right! They are only capable with tossing jabs and have a difficult time articulating reason.

    But hey, I ain't shy

    RON PAUL!

    Why you ask?

    Because;

*He and his son are the only ones that have come up with a realistic budget to address the budget and the deficit. Even Paul Ryan's budget plan kicks the problem down the road for the next administration to deal with.
    A) He would end useless Fed Departments and Agencies.
    B) He is basically an Isolationist when the USA needs isolation more then any time in our history. Think "America First" on this. Like instead of spending 3 TRILLION borrowed dollars and 4,000+ USA lives on two wars. RP would have never gotten us into that mess. Money that would better serve us had it been spent domestically or better yet, not spent at all!
    C) He would end all Foreign Aide. Unlike all the rest both Dem and Repub who like paying cash tribute for peace and friendship, R Paul sees this as a weakness of our Foreign Policy. How do you feel sending your tax dollars to Pakistan?
    D) He is a Libertarian which means his core is a small Fed Gov. The mess we are in today is because of the size of our Fed Gov. and the buying of votes via entitlements.

There is more but, I'm in the process of grilling some Lemonfish and BBQing some shrimp Emril style.

The Libertarian Party believes that all persons are entitled to keep the fruits of their labor. A call for the repeal of the income tax, abolishment of the Internal Revenue Service and all federal programs and services not required under the U.S. Constitution. We support the passage of a "Balanced Budget Amendment" to the U.S. Constitution, provided that the budget is balanced exclusively by cutting expenditures, and not by raising taxes. LP.org

If elected, he would be 77 when sworn in and 81 when running for reelection. I believe that makes him unelectable.

But, the question is "who would you support".

I still believe there there is wisdom that comes with age.

And, looking over the field of Presidential wannabes, I say the Ron Paul has been saying the things that have now become popular to say like shrinking the size of the Fed Gov and the spending for decades. Yet, they won't give RP the credit for being the original on smaller government and balanced budgets.

His ideas are what the the Tea Party is all about when it comes to fiscal responsibility! I'm just not sure what else the Teas have up thier sleeves. However, the Tea Party took a page from the Libertarian Platform with the smaller government, balanced budget ideas.

    I'll stick with the original!

The Tea Party prefers Bachmann but, the Beer Party says, "Ron Paul in 12"!

I don't care if he has the greatest ideas and philosophy in the world. If he's unelectable, and I believe he is, he's worthless as a candidate. With him as as candidate, we would be assured of 4 more years of socialism under Obama and, more importantly, the one or two more Supreme Court Justices he may appoint.

    I disagree.

I think Ron Paul has the best chance of all the GOP wannabes.

Other then Cain, all the other candidates have too narrow an appeal.

Other then Cain or Bachmann, all the others represent the same old GOP.

Bachmann only has the vocal Tea Party behind her and I doubt the majority support among Repubs.

    Cain is the wildcard.

Ron Paul has the fical conservatives, Libertarians, Independents with the latter two being the fastest growing group of voters.

Ron Paul gets very little support from the GOP. But, he will get the support from voters!

Yes, some of his idea's are what people are clamoring for. It's his other idea's that turn off the majority of conservatives. He's way too far right to get elected though. I hope he can bring some of his solutions into the discussion. That would be a good thing.

    Perry & Bachman.

TX has created as many jobs in the last 3 years as the rest of the USA combined.

That will (and should) be the main issue.
    The economy, jobs and SPENDING!!!!

I would love to see Bachman and "BFD" Joe debate!!!!
Just not sure if Joe can stay awake long enough..........
