Two things bother me about Ron Paul ... first, his age. I don't think I want a 78-yr old POTUS unless his VP is as good as he is. And then a second term? He'd be 82 running for a second term; and 86 by the end of a second term. If the R's want two terms, it would probably have to be Paul's VP. Even now, I don't think Paul is as sharp as he was four years ago.

There is no question in my mind that the position of POTUS requires a lot of stamina to handle the stress. Do you notice how a POTUS ages during his term(s)? And most of them have been a whole lot younger than Paul. You can even see it in Obama.

Remember, that was a big issue with McCain for some voters, and he's younger than Paul. And Palin didn't inspire enough confidence as a POTUS if she had to take over.

I don't like at all that Paul threw his support in 08 to Ralph Nader. How did that improve anything? What was the point to that? If he got the nomination, would he pick Nader as his VP?

Nope. Bachmann keeps putting her foot in her mouth over and over and making herself look like a ditz. Those wounds I'm afraid are all self inflicted. She exists only because of a $15 million war chest in the last congressional election.

If she is elected POTUS the long running attacks on her will be never ending-- not to mention the great fun comedians will have at her expense .

Wow, this seems like the Sarah Palin attacks all over again, only this time the left has underestimated just how much more of a schooled politician they are dealing with...dont think she will get the nomination, but will warrant a serious consideration as the # 2 on the ticket, with the right nominee could be a formidable team
