I don't like at all that Paul threw his support in 08 to Ralph Nader. How did that improve anything? What was the point to that? If he got the nomination, would he pick Nader as his VP
I actually like that. nater and paul may be considered goobers,,,but they have more honesty in their stools than the rest of the bunch put together. Screw the parties. We will continue down the same road if we don't start doing something right.

But you have to be realistic. In today's internet and TV world, no one that looks like Ron Paul is getting elected for National office... period. To top that off, when he starts talking, about half the time you can't make heads nor tails of what he is talking about. Did you catch the last debate? He rambled on like he was on drugs...hmmm. No elves in the White House regards...

Wrong there, Bon. I thought my remark excluded the majority of republican women. Most are not ditzes. But two of the front runners appear to have a disconnect between mind and lips.

Just curious, if Bachman is a ditz to you because of the disconnect of mind and lips, what term would you use to describe Joe (RBFD) Biden??

    Just askin'.......

Oh, I am likin' Perry and Bachman as a solid ticket I could support!

Are you guys serious about Bachmann? She is either a liar or just plain stupid. Not sure how I feel about Perry with his views on immigration. Unfortunately he may be the best hope we have even with those views. The only two I would seriously consider would be Perry or Romney. I will vote third party if any of the current others get the nomination...

What Perry has going for him is private sector job growth.

That will ( and should be) the single most important component to this election.

That'll do a lot of good. A vote for a third party is a vote for Obama.

Look at it realistically... no third party candidate has even the slightest chance to win the presidency. Oh, they may get a few more votes here and there but enough for the office? Not likely. If a person chooses to vote 3rd party they might as well stay home. It would have to be an EXTREMELY strong candidate and from what I see out there, there is no one even close.

Not only will that vote not count, it will take votes away from one of the other candidates of the major parties and then we get stuck with someone that the majority of the country doesn't want. That 3rd part guy may look tempting but... visions of Ross Perot comes to mind and then we got another 4 yrs of Willy.

Last I checked, nobody is perfect. We all have skeletons in our closet that we don't want anyone to know about from the tiniest white lies to... who knows! No candidate is perfect. No voter is perfect. Why do we let the media tell us who to vote for or who has this imperfection or this problem or that. The media is nothing more than an arrogant, elitist group that is trying to manipulate the vote.

Realistically, just about any of the repub. candidates would be a huge relief and can do a much better job over the current administration. Heck, that homeless guy down the street could do a better job than the current POTUS!
