Default Who to vote for ??? (Wi.)

Political ads running with every commercial and in my mailbox everyday.
    My question to you RTF'serss............
I know that I am NOt the only person that is confused and often frustrated with the ads that are circulating.......
What does a person believe and what ads are taken out of context for political gain????
I am NOT interested in political parties or any of the politicial labeling it is just more confusing.
I would like to know that when I cast my vote it is for the correct reasons and NOT because I thought that Joe Blow "Was" for this idea or that.
Am I really the only one??
Does it seem like it is getting worse???
Is it really too much to ask for the truth and NOT for someone's political gain???

    Sue,
Here in WI, as you are quite aware, we have quite the political turmoil over the last 1.5 years.

    Ask yourself this.

    Is WI's budget balanced?
Are municipal property taxes frozen or going down?
Are many municipalities actually hiring teachers as opposed to firing them?

The only municipality that has major issues now is Milwaukee, where the union negotiated their contract before Walkers law was enacted.
The unionwould not renegotiate for an additional 2% to their retirement, so 500 teachers have lost their jobs with an estimated 1,000 more to go.

    The down side?
There is no longer mandatory union membership and dues handling by the state.
(withdrawal from paychecks and deposit into unions account is over)

These are the facts, and they are undesputable.

Why do you think the unions from out of state are spending so much money here?
    For the schools and kids??

Why do you think all the issues on the recalls have NOTHING to do with Walkers bill??
Maybe because it is working and they can't win that argument?

So they get personal and make things up or take things out of context.

It's very sad and very ugly.

Follow your heart in your decision making.
    Good luck,

The local 9-12 organization here in PA sends out questionnaires to all candidates in each election asking for their positions on various issues. Then the replies are colated into a summary for the members of the group to review.

No candidates are endorsed. The candidates' positions are simply reported back.

And, yes, it does get confusing when your mailbox runneth over!!

My biggest problem with the politicians are:
Are they really I mean really really doing whats in the best interest of the people that elected them. Or do both parties have their own stubborn agendas and its more about being right?????

i was up there last week and found all the shenanigans quite entertaining. i think i am more 'informed' on your races than ours.

i don;t know what was more interesting, that or the chupacabra in elroy/montello.

today i hear one of the campaign hq's burned down.

the sad thing is i think that this is only the beginning of more to come.
