    Default Tonights Jobs/Economy Speech

    What it is?????

Anything short of reopening drilling in the Gulf and shutting down Obama care will be a massive failure.

If he asks for more stimulus money, he is insane but has balls!!

    What say you???

its a campaign speech where he will chastise the Congress for holding up HIS plans,he only knows one tune..the blame game blues..it just shows how ill prepared he was for the job, he didnt spend enough time in the Senate to know how to work within its parameters...the only Congresspersons that have his back are those dyed in the wool party members that do so because he is from their party...anyone notice the lack of vocal support from the Democratic rank and file...they are all about saving their own political hide

No doubt Bon....it's going to be more of the same blame, hate and divide game.

He'll point the finger at anything and everything other than himself.

...and that makes him different from every other politician both R & D how?

Don't kid yourselves. This country's problems run much deeper than which party has the WH or congress. The names of the players may change, but the game remains the same.

That is absolutely the truth, but what is the solution ? partisan politics is at an all time high...what meaningful bi partisan legislation has been passed in the last year?..the last 5 yrs?..somehow there is a disconnect between what the American public wants and what the Congress enacts

I don't know for sure Bon, but I think if we were all to dis-engage from the extreme partisan commentary that goes back and forth it might be a start.

I'm probably only just a little older than you, but I remember a time when politics involved the subtle arts of negotiation and compromise. Those arts seem to be lost today. The thrust today is "never ever give up" "Never surrender".
So we're kinda stuck in a bad sci-fi movie where creature A battles creature B. and all we're left to say is, "it doesn't matter who wins, we all lose."

Off to the HT and doves, and maybe a grouse or two. JD
