Default Comes now another view from a Black man.

This was sent me via email, and of course I didn't run it past that great lefty fact finder...Snopes. I leave that to you lefties that find that fulfilling.

The fact of the matter is, if I was as good a wordsmith as the incomperable Bill Cosby, I would have written these exact words, except he's a couple of years older than me. So, to make myself clear, if these words aren't attributable to Bill Cosby, I'd be very happy to claim them, and the beliefs they hold.

    "I'm 76 and I'm Tired"

I'm 76. Except for brief period in the 50's when I was doing my
National Service, I've worked hard since I was 17. Except for some
some serious health challenges, I put in 50-hour weeks, and didn't
call in sick in nearly 40 years. I made a reasonable salary, but I
didn't inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am.
Given the economy, it looks as though retirement was a bad idea, and
    I'm tired. Very tired.

I'm tired of being told that I have to "spread the wealth" to people
who don't have my work ethic. I'm tired of being told the government
will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to
people too lazy to earn it.

I'm tired of being told that Islam is a "Religion of Peace," when
every day I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their
sisters, wives and daughters for their family "honour"; of Muslims
rioting over some slight offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and
Jews because they aren't "believers"; of Muslims burning schools for
girls; of Muslims stoning teenage rape victims to death for
"adultery"; of Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in
the name of Allah, because the Qur'an and Sharia law tells them to.

I'm tired of being told that out of "tolerance for other cultures" we
must let Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries use our oil money to
fund mosques and mandrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in
Australia, New Zealand, UK, America and Canada, while no one from
these countries are allowed to fund a church, synagogue or religious
school in Saudi Arabia or any other Arab country to teach love and
    tolerance..

I'm tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight
global warming, which no one is allowed to debate.

I'm tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must
help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a
giant germ rush out of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder
up their noses or stick a needle in their arm while they tried to
    fight it off?

I'm tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of
all parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or
youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was
getting caught. I'm tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich
    or poor.

I'm really tired of people who don't take responsibility for their
lives and actions. I'm tired of hearing them blame the government, or
discrimination or big-whatever for their problems.

I'm also tired and fed up with seeing young men and women in their
teens and early 20's bedeck them selves in tattoos and face studs,
thereby making themselves un-employable and claiming money from the
    Government.

Yes, I'm damn tired. But I'm also glad to be 76.. Because, mostly, I'm
not going to have to see the world these people are making. I'm just
sorry for my granddaughter and her children. Thank God I'm on the
way out and not on the way in.

I highly doubt that came from the pen of Bill Cosby. It doesnít really sound like something he would write. Besides, I have seen this one circulated on the internet before, only it was attributed to someone else that time. If I remember correctly, the person it was attributed to that time wasnít really the author either. Why people keep recycling stuff like this is amazing to me. I guess there just isnít much original thought left.

Spoken like a true hypocrite. When you find something that tells it like it is, why try to re-invent the wheel? As I stated, if he hadn't said it, it was still a post I would have made...I GUESS BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE AN ORIGINAL THOUGHT LIKE ALL YOUR POSTS ARE, EH BLACKSTONE?

When I first read the Smartworks series by Evan Graham, in your eyes none of us should have quoted his teachings...because we weren't showing "original thought".

In the future, keep your "highly doubts" to yourself, unless you can offer some 'original thought'.

Furthermore, what is TRULY amazing is the info we conservatives 'recycle' is far more truthful than what your messiah's teleprompter keeps repeating. Talk about a pathetic showing of NO original thought, your little man-child President is the very best at that.

Here's a suggestion for you, Blackstone...and it's not an original of mine, but how can you improve on this? If you voted for Obama in '08 to prove you weren't racist, you'd better vote for someone else in '12 to prove you aren't a complete idiot.

I got a lot of tattoos while I was in the military. Never took a dime of assistance from the government. Had a job since I got out, even when people without tattoos got laid off at my plant. Guess I'm just lucky and its not my work ethic that counts.

Or maybe vote for the better qualified candidate to prove you are not racist...

Here is another copy of it. I searched for a phrase from it and got lots of hits on various versions. Interesting...

    Dear Uncle Bill,
I also have seen the same text from a while back. Like Blackstone I highly doubt it is from the hand of the Cos'.
You typing/urging somebody else to not post unless THEY have an original thought is truly the height of hypocrisy.
As you are the King of the copy and paste!
And lastly, I cannot wrap my mind around your sentence to Blackstone saying he voted for Obama to prove he was not a racist.
Can you help me on that? I must be too stupid to get the subtle innuendo. How do you even know who he voted for?
How do we know who any of us voted for?

    Mr Blackstone,
I admit I do not know what black men in general think politically.
I don't know what white people, brown people or red people think either.
I know what 1 thinks in regards to bird hunting.
Maybe someday we could share that passion!

I THINK if you were to actually READ my post, you'll be able to discover I don't much give a dayum if I'm considered the king of copy and paste, especially when I find an article that I can believe in completely...why should I not post that, since it says whatever I might have to 'originally' write.

My height of hypocrisy is 'better' than what Blackstone was mentioning? He was the first to rail about not having an original thought.

Finally, put on your reading glasses and note: That last sentence started with that tiny word IF. IF that's his reason for voting the way he did, THEN, he might want to reflect on his coming vote. Far be it from me to insinuate the RTF Pied Piper would be considered 'stupid' under any circumstances.

    Hope that helped.

nobody is railing except you Bill.
that "if" is well noted and still I do not understand
how you think Blackstone voted for "O" to prove he was NOT
a racist? The sentence MIGHT work.... but still be crude and classless...
If Blackstone had voted for some random white guy....
To "Prove" he was not a racist.
Every time somebody tries to do point-counter point with you
it is the same old thing. You wailing and yelling and proclaiming.
I am starting to think it may be just your style. Copy away Bill
