5-7 days sounds awful ambitious. I would plan for a little longer. Check water temperture. If below 60 degrees defer until spring.

I believe initial introduction 'pinch to open' FF doctrine is as progressive as shooting a dog with bird shot to get it to sit on a whistle. AS

I think you rent a pond for a day at Cooper for 20 bucks a day.
If you get a chance to hook up with Wally then I would jump on his offer to help. From what I understand his property is ideal for training dogs. I am looking forward to seeing the place myself in 2 weeks when the Charleston, SC HRC Club has their Spring Hunt Test there. Wally and Angie are great people. - Brian
