Default Swimby Pond - Cheraw SC

Does anybody have (or know of) a pond near Cooper Black that I could use for 5-7 days to teach a young dog swimby?

Check with Drew Neubauer...Gray Oaks Kennel. He may have something or know of something close to you. He is in Hartsville.

The water might be a little cold to be doing swim by!

5-7 days sounds awful ambitious. I would plan for a little longer. Check water temperture. If below 60 degrees defer until spring.

    Tim,
I'm about an hour south of H. Cooper Black. If you're out touring the countryside you are welcome to visit.

My old wintering area. Let me make a phone call later today and I'll get back to you. No promises but I'll see if a place I use to train is still available.

I think you rent a pond for a day at Cooper for 20 bucks a day.

If you get a chance to hook up with Wally then I would jump on his offer to help. From what I understand his property is ideal for training dogs. I am looking forward to seeing the place myself in 2 weeks when the Charleston, SC HRC Club has their Spring Hunt Test there. Wally and Angie are great people. - Brian
