Very good news. On the grant page it says status open--does anyone know if that means they're still taking applications or that it's been awarded?

It's on the list of the 2012 approved OAK grants
    http://www.akcchf.org/research/funde...ak-grants.html

CHF approved over 1.5 million in new grants to start in 2012
If you click on the other link I posted initially, LRC is one of the sponsors of the recent study.

I am not sure I answered your question..

Email from Dr. Wilke at U of Minnesota a few minutes ago:
"Thank you so much for contacting me! We are not collecting samples at this time and are in the phase of data analysis. In the future based on these results we may want to look at more dogs, but not at this moment. If we do, we have posted on the Lab CLub sites. Again, thank you for your interest in our study.
    Have a great evening, Vicki"

Thanks. Will be interesting to see how these studies shake out, genetic component, conformation, etc.

Would it be considered a witch hunt to start a thread on dogs who have had repairs on both joints. Pedigree analysis?
