4 Generations

I was goofing around with the dogs today and realized I had 4 generations of them, so I tried to pose them for some photos.



From left: Usher, grandsire to the pups, next to him is his mama (pups' great granddam) Puffin, and Usher's daughter Panda, dam of the pups.




I only had my cheap little camera, so I took a bunch of duds to get a few halfway decent, in-focus shots. I liked this one though, since it shows all the little subplots: pups realized their mom Panda couldn't get away, and latched on to her. They're almost 9 wks., and she's been trying to wean them the last 3. Note her long-suffering expression. Big bad stud dog Usher got tired of all that sissy posing and especially of sharp little puppy teeth (he really wanted to chase/bark at the horses who were rattling their buckets to be fed); and Perfect Puffin stayed put.

Impressive...not only having 4 generations.

Keeping the youngsters up on the tail gate also impressive!

Thanks for sharing and congrats on the little ones they all look like they want more attention and my wife thinks they need to some from her she said that they would be welcome here anytime

Thing is we are expecting a litter of 8-10 the vet said so she will have her hands full enough before she knows it.
