Prayers Please
Hey gang I have been tied up and haven't been able to post lately and here is why. My assistand director at the ambulance service that I work for has a 7 year old daughter who was diagnosed with a brain tumor 2 years ago. On march 26th she had her 2nd brain surgery all went well but again because the tumor is attached to the brain stem they were not able to remove it all. She is such a fighter she was bound and determined not to stay in the hospital to recover for 4 weeks as she did after the last surgery and because of the progress she has made she may get to come home today to complete her recovery. However she is not out of the woods yet. She is facing 60 weeks of chemo therapy it is going to be a long road. Her faith in God is like no other she is role model to us all.
The entire emergency services family in Cabarrus County NC has banded together and organized a fundraiser. It will be April 19-22 At Bass Pro Shops in Concord NC. It is a roof top Sit in EMS Fire and Police personel will sit on the roof until we raise $100,000 for the family for all of the therapy and recovery costs. If you are in the area please come and see us there will be fire trucks SWAT trucks and Ambulances for the kids to play on and Hotdogs to eat.
Please pray for this little girl and pray for our team that we may have a succesfull fundraiser. Her are a few links we actually have a PayPal account on this website for those of you who would like to help but can not come.
