    Default I am Curious????

    A question for you progressives.

What would it take for you to admit Obama ain't cuttin' it?
Is there any limit or anything he could do that could ever prompt you to call out a fault?

I mean a lot of conservatives were pretty dissapointed in Bush and called him out.

Is it even in you to admit that Obama is not perfect??

Or is the hook firmly set??

Because, trust me, he is making some good people look really bad!!!!

First of all....even though some of you have admitted he did things wrong....you cast the blame to Obama.

I don't agree with everything that the Obama camp is doing too, however, I don't want to go back to the failed policies of Bush and the republicans either.

The republicans have not shown me or even said anythng that makes me think they learned anything. All they have done is place blame where it doesn't belong. No accountability.

Now on the other hand...if they came up with something that made good since and their ideology was to change...you could move me.

    That answer your question?

What has BUMFACE done that is right and fair???? YOu can throw the auto bailout in the trash because he broke the law and disregarded all bankruptsy laws in favor of buying union votes,. That alone tells me that he is a socialist lunatic who should be tried for treason for violating the constitution!!

Obviously you know nothing about priority...it always gets violated....see all stakeholders have a say...the union had the best hand that simple and the unsecured creditors knew it.

But answer this...would you have preferred for some vulture to have got what these autoworkers worked for years to have and were promised. I'm pretty sure that if it happen to you...you would not have wanted to be screwed out of it.

Come on man....what happened in Detriot was a good thing.

My first job at Merrill Lynch was as a distressed debt analyst....I know how the game is played...no one broke any laws and what happened is the risk of playing the game and sometimes you lose. Romney know how this game is played though, and would have loved to have seen their VEBA divided amoung his investors, even at the expense of leaving a man that worked his whole life for a pension and was 65 without time to make it again. He would have lost no sleep, rest assured!

The constitution is pretty clear that government cannot intervene on private contracts and yet that is exactly what they did.

The bonds were unsecured so you were pari pasu with all unsecured debt holders and that is consistent with priority. The workers on the other hand were secured debt holders since the deferred compensation was secured with assets of the VEBA. If some broker sold you distressed bonds of GM and didn't clearly explain the risk to you, you might want to take it up with him and potentially you might have a claim. Better get a move on it though, I think you have 4 years to act.

a couple of reasons that progressives wont admit that BHO isnt the answer

    1. they don't want to admit that they got duped(along with the whole country) by all the hype from the media

    2. its no longer about BHO, its about the Dems being in power and thinking its better for the country than the Repubs

    3. they can claim that the problems they inherited are ones that no one person could overcome, and would take more than 4yrs

    4. they still think that BHO will get re elected not because he is competent, not because he is better than Mitt, but because the Dems have better solutions for the country than Repubs..in other words its more about the Party in power and less about the person in charge
