Default The buck stops with you?

Obama gave a speech saying Truman said the buck stops with you. Funny it's The buck stops here , not with you. But in obamas case I guess it is with us since he will not take responsibility for anything.Like when he said Romney as CEO and president of Bain was responsible for its employes but Obama has not taken any guess it's those headwinds he keeps running into

Obama's tactic, I noted in the 2008 debates, is if there is a topic he doesn't want to deal with, he simply replies: "That simply isn't true," and changes the subject.

Worked then. Will Romney have the presence to say: "You haven't answered the question."

    Here's an example for you;

"are you still beating your wife"? there are questions which are traps no matter how you answer them. Better to say; "that simply isn't true". than it is to attempt to answer that kind of question.

But i'm still voting for Romney-Paul

When you hate America as much as he does, it's what you can expect. He's just part of the Democrat/socialistic state that encompasses all his sycophant MSP and SFN crowd. When you have nothing you can talk about accomplishing that you might run on, this is the type of campaign you get. Couple it all with his communist father's teachings, and his leftist mother's training, and then all his socialist-marxist education from his Chicago buddies, this is what we get.

Remember, there is a difference between what the left and right believe, and how it's viewed in America.

    Only in America ---Top Ten
    1) Only in America could politicians talk about the greed of the rich
at a $35,000 a plate campaign fund raising event.

    2) Only in America could people claim that the government still
discriminates against black Americans when we have a black President,
a black Attorney General, and roughly 18% of the federal workforce is
black, when only 12% of the population is black.

    3) Only in America could we have had the two people most responsible
for our tax code, Timothy Geithner, the head of the Treasury
Department and Charles Rangel who once ran the Ways and Means
Committee, BOTH turn out to be tax cheats who are in favor of higher
    taxes.

    4) Only in America can we have terrorists kill people in the name of
Allah and have the media primarily react by fretting that Muslims
might be harmed by the backlash.

    5) Only in America would we make people who want to legally become
American citizens wait for years in their home countries and pay tens
of thousands of dollars for the privilege while we discuss letting
anyone who sneaks into the country illegally just become American
    citizens.

    6) Only in America could the people who believe in balancing the
budget and sticking by the country's Constitution be thought of as
    "extremists."

    7) Only in America could you need to present a driver's license to
cash a check or buy alcohol, but not to vote.

    8) Only in America could people demand the government investigate
whether oil companies are gouging the public because the price of gas
went up when the return on equity invested in a major U.S. oil company
(Marathon Oil) is less than half of a company making tennis shoes
    (Nike).

    9) Only in America could the government collect more tax dollars from
the people than any nation in recorded history, still spend a trillion
dollars more than it has per year for total spending of $7 million PER
MINUTE, and complain that it doesn't have nearly enough money.

    10) Only in America could the rich people who pay 86% of all income
taxes be accused of not paying their "fair share" by people who don't
pay any income taxes at all.

I think Obama will be totally ineffective if re-elected. The Legislative branch (both the Senate and the House) will not work with him now. I can see no evidence that that will change if he is re-elected. Our country has suffered thru 4 years of stalemate already. I don't think we can weather another 4 years of that. I'm hopeful Romney will be able to work effectively with the legislators.

Besides that, my Wife was a Massachusetts resident while he was Governor. She thought he did a good job and I value her opinion highly.-Paul

Speaking of bucks ... today was the deadline for the POTUS to present the mid-season review of the budget to Congress. Oops ... another year without a budget.

This re-wording of that quote pretty much sums up just what Obama is..........a "Pass the buck" kind of guy. Of course we knew this before he opened his mouth yet again. He does not "lead", of course we knew that also. Somebody forgot to tell him what the commander in chief does. He makes pretty speaches and not much else. This is the main thing that some other countries past "leaders" have done. Pretty speaches does not cut it when we need a good leader.
