Marvin, how many people are killed by drunk drivers every year and how many are killed by people high on grass? I read an article a while back that suggested pot is illegal because the chemical company that invented poly rope didn't want competition from hemp rope so the right legislators got campaign donations and hemp became illegal under the guise of it being hazardous to our health. Don't know if it's true but it wouldn't suprise me.

that is poor rationale in support of the legalization of MJ...I have little to no problem with those that choose to partake, its not anything I would choose for my self...its being sold thru so many places in Calif and doctors across the country are scrambling to get licensed to to distribute the stuff..as I said on the WOD thread as long as the kids cant buy it, and my son's bus driver isn't on it, then go do your Cheech and Chong thing...

IMO if the gov't could find a way to get some revenue stream from it they would probably legalize it, more than the few states do now..maybe one of the big Pharma companies will get into the business

How is the argument any different for mj than alcohol? They figured out how to tax it. Is it ok for the bus driver to be drunk because alcohol is legal? Of course not. The exact rules that apply for one would work for the other.

I am having a vision that Verizon is going to be on track soon. I have visions of camera's being put all over the Land to catch these people red handed. I think the hands free law is going to pass in Mass. Too many people getting rear ended by bus drivers in North Carolina. You own what you can do. The hippies will want this law not to bypass the senate. I foresee that some Lady will be in Kansas soon. Going to a wedding of a doctor and a nurse. Toto .......
