It will have to be a Div 2 school if he wants to play this season. I suspect he will opt for next year's NFL draft. He'll go from being a late first round pick to a 5th-7th round pick. If only he were a boozer instead, he wouldn't have gotten kicked off the team

His mother has battled drug addiction throughout her life, and his biological father has spent most of his adult life in prison. LSU afforded Mathieu an opportunity to outrun his past, but he failed to take advantage.
