We have a chocolate female “Luthenauer’s Troublesome Coon Creek Susie” MH. She is 3 years old. She is out of Ten Bears Road Trip QAA (2 open wins but no FC or AFC, yet) x Watermarks Troublesome Bonny QAA. We plan to breed her in 1-2013. We are in the process of locating a stud for the breeding.
She has had her CERF performed and her CNM and EIC done. Her CERF is certified cleared as normal. Her CNM and EIC have not come back as of the date I post this, but I am certain will come back clear and could have been verified through parentage but I wanted to have the certificate. Both parents are OFA excellent. We have not performed the OFA as of this time but plan to in November of this year. We are not concerned with obtaining an OFA excellent or good certificate and would certainly have it before breeding.
Susie is an incredible marker with speed and agility. She is 60 lbs of drive yet steady at the line and a pin point marker. Her blinds are every bit as enthusiastic as her live flier retrieves. Dirt flies from her pads for most of the retriever or blind as she digs to gain yardage and strives for the end goal.
We have put an MH on her and will be running her at the Master National this October 2012. We have high expectations for her. Ultimately we hope to hang the new MNH title on her. She passed 6 out of 7 MH tests this past year.
In the hands of an experienced Field Trial oriented trainer she would certainly have some derby points and perhaps more by now. We are amateurs and run HT only, but train with a FT crowd. One of the dogs she trained with "Watermarks Troublesome Bonny QAA (Susies Mother)" and another is AFC FC Watermarks Texas Welcome (Howdy - Bonny's Sire and Susies Grandfather) and she is certainly in line with their abilities as far as we can see. In a better trainers hands she would have achieved even more than she has achieved so far.
In any event we were looking for an FC or AFC stud that throws chocolates (chocolate factored) or a chocolate stud to breed our Susie to. We would not be interested here in any less titled stud. We would certainly be able to find a stud locally from all the FT or excellent HT studs near us or within our purview. At this time we want to only look for the AFC, FC or AFC FC (minimum) titled studs.
We be willing to do Frozen Semen, Chilled Semen or natural breeding. Susie will come into heat in January 2013 and we will be breeding her at that time. We do have a little time to plan but time is of the essence.
If you do not have a stud that you don't feel is suitable or are unwilling to breed to her at this time a recommendation of a good stud would certainly be appreciated.
Thanks
