    For people who are looking to make a trip this fall, here are a couple tips from someone who grew up in North Dakota

    1. Devils Lake is not the only place in the state to shoot waterfowl
    2. DON'T BUST A ROOST - the pothole with 10K birds on it is not the place to setup before dawn with your 10 foot skiff

    Sorry if this seems like a rant, but had to give my 2 cents. Ashley is a good area. Hope you get it rented.
