During the call, the statement said, Obama told Morsy that "he rejects efforts to denigrate Islam, but underscored that there is never any justification for violence against innocents and acts that endanger American personnel and facilities."

I find the bolded portion especially concerning. It leaves open the possibility of violence against those who actually produced or performed in the movie as I am certain that the muslims would not consider them innocents. He should have said something more to the effect that words are words, and violence is violence. That in America we protect the right of free speech but will meet violence with greater violence.

Kind of ironic ... you'd think that the fellas in charge in Egypt and Libya would recognize that Obama has been a "patsy" for them; and yet, they don't head off this stuff, just two months before the election; events which could sway the election away from their patsy. A hard line with a new POTUS could, at least, put a damper on US foreign aid to them, if they don't come up with the perps & deal with them before the election.
