Eukanuba Breeder Bag Price Increase

I was notified my kennel bag price was going up 24% or $10 a bag with tax and surcharge.

This is the food I feed, too. Our dogs do well on the red bag (Chicken and Rice) which is 26/15.

I have about three bags of Enhance Pro left but they are out of business. A Native rep gave me a free coupon for one free bag of dog food and my dogs love it and their stools were hard with little mixing. Purina PP, Enhance (grain free), and now it's looking like Native (grain free). Kind of costly though but what is a guy to do anymore?

Anyone feed PRECISE? I used to feed it with good results. not cheaper than Euk's increases though.

All brands will be going up due to the bad harvest this year. It will effect all protein sources. ie beef, chicken, lamb, pork. So even if you feed and non grain formula, you will see an increase in the future.

Erik I am feeding about 60 +/- dogs, 50 of them English Setters of varying ages. We feed about 6-800 # of food a month. The adults are on the Nutrisource Adult Chicken (wheat,corn soy free) and I am REALLY having to watch that the dogs don't get to fat now. Stool quality and quantity is good.
I have my labs and very young setter pups on Performance , I have a couple of harder keepers that are in good condition with it. I have one young setter that never stops moving that holds his weight when on the Performance.
I have a couple of dogs on the seafood for ear issues, skin issues.
Of course when I buy by the ton , I get a great price, but I am REALLY very happy with the food utilization and the condition of the kennel dogs. Iwould rather have to worry about dogs being too fat rather than too skinny.
To me the value of cost to condition is high.Also all of the food is made at ONE plant that is family owned.

How much per bag do you pay? and do you use just the Performance? I would use that, and the Adult (26/16).
I dont know if my distrbutor carries it or not.

Thanks Bridget! We started out on the grain free chicken 28/18, guys have been doing good on it for about a month or so, I can say, no stinky breath and yellowish teeth on NS but they dont seem to hold on to training as long but were not training as hard now, recovery seems good so NS Performance might be the better choice for us down the road. I really like the profile of the company.

BTW I love the looks and style of a fine English Setter on point!. Thanks again!!!!!
