Default HEY, you toads and sycophants...

...that think unemployment at 7.8% is such great news, ever consider why most conservatives wonder what all you fools are so elated about???...well not in the case of "Roger west" who really is in need of a sanity test.

You don't suppose this might have something to do with those numbers eh?

The Unemployment Rate Is Down To 4.3%…For Government Workers

President Obama and Democrat leadership may not have been great for the economy overall, but the government workers in the public sector are doing pretty good. Unemployment among government employees is the lowest out of any other sector in the economy:
(CNSNews.com) – The best news anywhere in the U.S. economy over the past three months has been in the government sector, where unemployment has dropped dramatically from 5.7 percent in July to 5.1 percent in August to 4.3 percent in September, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

    This is down
from 5.7% unemployment in July, and 5.1% unemployment in August.

Let’s be clear that while government jobs are necessary – and more often than not filled by good people trying to do a good job – they are a drain on the overall economy. Government in and of itself is a burden to the economy. The private sector supports the government because a truly free market needs a certain number of laws and enforcement of those laws.

But government jobs are no stimulus to the economy, despite what the Keynsians tell us.

Government jobs are, however, of tremendous stimulus to Democrats who count as perhaps their most important bloc of support the labor unions. And these days the government is the last bastion of organized labor, given that there are more dues-paying union members working in government than the private sector.

Yes, right, sure... employment is much worse since he took office and no gains have been made since we were losing 700,000+ jobs a month.

Oh yeah, and what was that about public sector jobs. Hmmm here is what happened with public sector jobs after the past four recessions. Hmmm. this recession is the only one (green line) where the public sector scaled back and did so significantly. Hmmm.. did you also know that if the public sector had not cut back that the unemployment rate would have been below 7%...

Oh and here is just a simpler version showing public sector employment under the socialist Obama.

Here's one on infrastructure investment.. hmm. it has gone down... I wonder if the total obstruction of the jobs bill could have caused this? I wonder how much lower employment would have been with a little more infrastructure investment the past few years?

at the same time, after tax profits in the private sector are at record highs and growing.... where are those jobs trickling down given all this success?

Oh and about the federal income tax rate. It is at historic low levels. I am sure you can find your own graph easily.

Too bad the facts do not fit the echo chamber narrative.

We do live in Cuba now.

If he gets re elected we will be living under a dictatorship

    dic·ta·tor·ship
    1. a country, government, or the form of government in which absolute power is exercised by a dictator

    2. absolute, imperious, or overbearing power or control

    3. the office or position held by a dictator.

    FACT
According to the Labor Department, the unemployment rate was 7.8 percent in January 2009 when George W. Bush left office. It didn't get to ten percent until October of that year: More lies the Dems believe that unemployment was 10% when Bush left WRONG!!!!

Henry, I believe the drop in public sector employment is the impact of state and local level cutbacks. Those govts were working to live within their revenue income limits and could not do the deficit spending that the Fed govt seems able to do.

Thank God we can count on one of the real sycophants, who obviously hasn't succumbed to his wounds from falling on the Democrat sword, to remove his head from where the sun don't shine, to instruct us as to how stupid we are to ever think of replacing Obama. He must be doing every thing you expected from him, eh Henry? Life in the PRM must be envigorating. Bet you just can't wait for the next four years under your messiah.

Stay healthy, Henry. The rest of the country will need your donation so they can afford Obamacare. But then, maybe your union has received a pass from any responsibility.

It's utterly dumbfounding that such an erudite individual has not gotten hired by the Obamaites...or at least that liberal rag, the Star Tribune. You would be their ultimate propagandist.
