    He an analyst we gets paid for drawing attention to his network and himself. He obviously did a good job because he got his comments post here, half the time you can't even tell if the guys meant what they say or are just doing it for attention. As far as those records go I remember Jerry Rice getting a little dump pass behind the line of scrimmage in a kneel down situation that preserved his consecutive games with a catch streak.

    The Steelers did have a great defense during their dynasty. However, the offense wasn't too shabby. Mike Webster snapped the ball to Bradshaw. He handed off to Franco Harris or threw it to Lynn Swan or John Stallworth. That's 5 Hall of Famers on offense. Don't give all the credit to the Steel Curtain.

    well my Cowboys stink...and my Longhorns just got their rear ends kicked (PC version for RTF) by Oklahoma...the closest they got was during pre game warm ups...the end of the Mack Brown era is upon us

    as long as DeLoss Dodds is making the decision it will be the wrong one...but since he set the salary level out of this world in paying MB 5Million then attracting a name coach shouldnt be a problem..the coach they needed was on campus in Muschamp and he aint coming back...so my initial short list would be Gruden, Pete Carroll, or maybe even Petrino...which means none of them

    Pete Carroll??? You looking for NCAA sanctions? He left USC one step ahead of the posse. I think his idol is Lou Holtz.

    If I were looking for a college HC, I wouldn't recycle a bunch of has beens.

    I would look for a young coach like Mark Hudsbeth. Amazing what he has done in two seasons and he inherited a program with little talent and all they do is win!
