I love that cover photo. I also think Carol's chapter on reading your dog, general fairness to the dog and training group manners is very good.
If you think the book is good, just go to one of Carol's seminars if you ever get the chance!! My wife and I went to her advanced handling seminar last summer (3 days) and it was AWESOME! She makes it a lighthearted and fun atmosphere and explains things so well. Even handlers with alot of experience said they learned things that they would use in their future training. I would even go to the same seminar again in a heartbeat! Well worth every cent and a great time to boot.

Ordered my copy yesterday. Can't wait to get it!!
....LOL I have one as well...along with two Fluffies
..double the reason to make the purchase!!
Met Carol in Maine a few years ago in Dover Foxcroft of all places..and she had Val Ducross with her. It was so great to meet both. The other reason I like Carol, other than her book, is the way she is with her retrievers and the team work that I saw that weekend.
