I took my two kids out to the Duck Club today and had a great time with them! This is both kids first year hunting, and Megan has dreams of running some Hunt Tests this year so we had a great time. Trigger is a Grady Pup that just had his first birthday...
Awesome! If your like me you get a bigger kick out of the kids knocking down birds than if you did and throw in the dog it's a recipe for fun for sure. Always glad to see families in the field.
So neat to see Dads taking the time and effort with their kids! I'm in my forties and can't remember any Dads in our middle class neighborhoods doing much with the kiddos. Keep up the good work!
very cool. here's my son's first duck hunt last year. i was just there to make sure nothing bad went wrong but he handled the dog (which cold handle himself on most hunts) but did send him to pick up each duck and that made the hunt even cooler for him.
