    Alabama Amendment 1
    Result Votes Percentage
    Yes 907,004 75.29%
    No 297,754 24.71%
    32 out of 67 precincts reporting

    Voters overwhelmingly approved Amendment 1, the Forever Wild Amendment. The amendment passed with almost 75 percent of the vote. The amendment reauthorizes the Forever Wild Program, a wilderness protection program that will stay in place for another 20 years.

    Congratulations to the Forever Wild program and all the folks who were/are instrumental in it's success.
    Who couldn't be impressed with the improvements to that property and the way it is managed.
    As someone already posted...truly a model for other states to follow.
    Looking forward to going back in April.
