Chesapeake breeders in Maryland are PA

I know breeder questions get asked here almost to death but oh well. I am starting to get the itch To train a new pup. After doing the whole over the phone have the puppy put on a plane thing last time I have vowed never agian. Dont get me wrong she is a great hunting dog all the drive in the world and I love her to death. But she has many health issues and I really come the to conclusion that you need to shake hand with the breeder and make sure your dogs comming from a loving enviroment. So now after training a few labs I want to make the switch over to a chessie. I have Always wanted one and I think me and my home are ready. Now the hard task finding a good honest breeder close to home. So if anyone knows any good chesapeake breeders close to southern PA are MD that they would recommend that would be great. Thats for reading my long rant to ask a simple question.

Pond Hollow Chesapeakes comes to mind. New Port Pa. I don't know them but have trained a pup from them. Real nice dog to work with. Here is a link.

I currently own a Pond Hollow Chessie and would personally recommend them. Dyane has been breeding Chessies for 30plus years and has a ton of knowledge of the Breed. She strives to maintain the breeds conformation as well as Field capabilities.

X2 very knowledgable when it comes to the Chessies, she definitely schooled me when I was on the fence of either getting another lab or changing to chessies. I have no doubt in my mind she at the very least can give you solid recomendations on litters/breeders.
