Sores from E-Collar contacts
Looks like she has scabbed over sores on her neck in a couple of spots. Just wondering if anyone has had these come up before? Could be from the contacts on the E-Collar/Containment Collar. Should I put the short ones in?

I have no experience with this, but
This topic has come up a few times, you can do a search for it on the main page.

Although this topic may have come up a few times, there is no reason why you could not ask it again.
The long or short prongs are all dependent on the amount of fur at the neck. If you have a pup that has very thin coat, you should be using the short prongs.
My pup has a very thick coat at the neck, so the long ones are required. I have never had a problem with neck sores from the e-collar, so I would guess that it may be that the prongs are too long. And for reference, I keep the collar on my dog for long periods of time. If he is out of the house, he has the collar on, so that means that he would wear it for anywhere from 4-6 hours sometimes.

Its a contact allergy to the nickel in the stainless steel prongs.
do a search and you will come up with some options. I believe in arecent thread someone mentioned a prong cover that works well.
