    Default Names for Chocolate Pup

I will be getting my male puppy around late January. It's a boy, I've got a few names I'm thinking of but am not gonna name him until I spend a little while with him. So far I'm thinking of gamble, ruger, and bluffton. I really really like bluffton but it seems like it may be too long of a name. What're you guys opinion?

You probably already know this, but pick a call name with one or two syllables, that's easy to enunciate at all volume levels, and that's not easily confused with other commands. Of your choices, I could not use Bluffton because my southern mouth just couldn't do it, but your mileage may vary.

Ruger sounds good!! You can say it quick and with force....doesn't sound like common commands and of course it's a darn fine rifle!!!

Ruger is my second favorite name that I've got lined up. But do you think bluffton would work if I called him bluff to make it shorter and easier?

Bluffton is two syllables so it should work fine

Ruger seems to be the "name de jour". Seeing lots of them recently.

Years ago I had a Chocolate Lab named "CHIP". I am sure that was a common name for a Chocolate but it worked for me.

    Coco or Mocha.

Feared by ducks, envied by hunters and loved by dogs.

I always kinda liked the name Bean for a chocolate dog - as in a cocoa bean it is easy to say and there are not any commands that I know of that sound like it.
