Central Florida folks
Heading down to central Florida next Wednesday to spend Thanksgiving with my parents just west of Orlando (Ocoee/Winter garden area). Plan to stay down there and run the Central Florida HRC test and AKC test Dec 1-2. Looking for some place(s) to do some training a few days while we are there. Would appreciate any help with this anyone can offer.

What is this AKC test you speak of? Unless something has changed CFHRC is an HRC only club. Am i missing something?

I heard they were running a double Junior, Double Senior AND a full on HRC test on the same grounds, the same weekend, under the same club...from a VERY reliable source this past weekend @ Charleston HRCs test. Interested to hear how it turns out...

Joe is not correct.......
There are two hunt tests being run by two different clubs. Central Florida is running an HRC hunt test (started, seasoned and finished) and the Mid-Florida Golden Retriever Club is running an AKC test (junior and senior only). Both clubs are running their tests at Golden Oaks in Montverde, Florida.

Ok, so Joe is correct about all but "the same club" part.
To clarify a prior post, There will be an AKC JH/SH tests on Sat and AKC JH/SH tests on Sunday.
HRC will have separate hunts on Sat and Sunday also.
FL NATIVE, can you help OP find some training grounds?

Guess my source isn't as reliable as I thought!!! I did wonder however about the potential for a logistical nightmare....now, with it being 2 different clubs I imagine the logistics will be even worse!
