Funny Chief! Gdg
When he was just a pup living in the trailer with us, Chief learned to grab the toilet paper roll and drag it all around ala the Charmin lab pup. By the time we moved into the house (he was 19 mos) he had learned better. But I do allow my dogs to drink out of the toilet downstairs. Seldom used, it is clean with no chemicals. About a week ago I noticed a small tear in the middle of the tp roll. Saturday when I walked past, I saw that the edge of the roll was frayed. What gives? Surely there would be a bigger mess if Chief had been playing with it? So I decided to spy on him. I hid in my office, just around the corner from the powder room. Ralph let him in the house, (he always heads straight to the porcelain fountain) and waited for the loud slurping to begin. As soon as it stopped I peeked around the edge, and Chief was vigorously wiping his mouth on the toilet paper! His canines would snag on each pass. How in the world did he come up with this one???
