Me and my 8 yr old son's first duck hunt.....
Just wanted to share with everyone, me and my son Dylan's first duck hunt. Dylan just turned 8. He shoots a bantam weight 20 ga and has killed 3 doves and on the opening of youth season here in louisiana managed to take his first incoming teal, spoonbill and gadwall. Between he and a friend they managed to take 7 ducks that day. It couldnt have been better, and now there are two more youngsters hooked on hunting and running dogs. As you see the look on his face tells it all.

Awesome job of getting them out there. He's the same age that my boys were when they started killing ducks. Nothing like watching them kill their first ones. Congratulations to you and your son.

Nice job man ! Enjoy the time for it seems to go by so quickly. My son was like yours. I enjoyed taking him a lot. He's 1 week short of passing Army Ranger School now . Proud of him.
