I voted for the receiver from USC, Marquise Lee.....I think Manziel will make a lot of All America teams and in many ways deserves the Heisman...but there is one set of stats that really got me to rethink that...
in games against non ranked teams Manziel has accounted for 40 TD's...against ranked teams he has less than 6
IMO there are two other QB's that make their teams go..and that is the kid from Oregon, and the other is AJ McCarron from Alabama...without either of them, their respective teams go nowhere...the same might also be said fro Braxton Miller, but OSU seems to be in a media black hole this year
I do think Lee will be the first pick in the NFL draft

Bon, while I do wish Johnny Football would win I dont think the voters will go with a freshman and a first year coach. I don't think your less than six TDs stat is correct unless you are talking about ranked teams now. I quick glance of the schedule and results against teams ranked when played accounted for at least 13 TDs. If you look at TAMC's last year performance and then this year there is no way that you can discount the impact of Johnny Football. He was the team the first half of the season. Hopefully this will just be the first of many great years for Johnny Football.
All the players mentioned are impact players for their respective teams.

Did you run the same comparison stat for the other candidates?
Anybody but Te'o. It's ridiculous that he is even in the conversation. Probably a good kid, but give me a break.
