I judged a JH test this fall and had a young female run...sweet dog, but couldn't pick-up the second mark. Handler was rushed, arriving at the test late and taking the dog out of the car, to the line, running it right away...I advised that in the future, take some time to air the dog and let it smell the smells and see the sights before running. Both dog and handler are new to the sport.
