Getting a pup to jump onto stand

Teach "place" or "kennel" or what ever u use using a mat on the ground. Once dog understands that, start moving mat to stand or chairs or anything like that off the ground. Start low if u need to and gradually get taller.

I have a dog stand sitting in my pattern field. Before every training session I get them to get on the stand. In no time they will run to the stand and jump up to start training. I usually put the collar on them after they get on the stand.
