That is how I used to do it. I started training after several years away from the group. How do you think I felt when someone with 3 years in the game came up to me and said "You're doing it wrong".
Thats a great tube, some good pointers to pick up in it, 5 min max ff 3x a day, getting wet, saw a trainer do that, she looked pretty good in the wet TEE. lots of other tips too
That's a fantastic video Ray thank you. I had to watch it twice and save it so I can rewatch it and share it with others. Almost all advice is still solid and so very valid today. Am I the only one to notice the announcer is either Paul Harvey or sounds an awful lot like Paul Harvey? I had scribble out a couple notable quotes;
"Chuck says anytime a trainer is afraid to get his feet wet or muddy he better quit training dogs"
"Chuck's in the water so much he's sprouting webbed feet"
"It costs as much to feed a hammerhead as a good dog"
This film is a genuine pearl of retriever history, thank you again!
I think the speaker on this video was the same one on "Dragnet"--great video!
