Spoke with Bob today. Going to get blood drawn tomorrow and sent off.Even though its a small chance that is what is bothering Kona,I can't not do it. Especially given its only a 45 dollar test.It would be irresponsible of me not too

Here is a new dog in the fight of his life against this deadly disease.
Symptoms: Loosing weight and not eating
Diagnosis: Complete blood work which showed normal. (didn't mention a blood test for pythiosis) Antibiotics and steroid shot provided no relief. X-rays show a thickening of intestines. Exploratory surgery which revealed either cancer or pythiosis. Diagnosis Pythiosis.
Treatment: Immunotherapy injections, Terbinafine and Itraconazole
