I haven't tried it. A friend of mine that is a programmer, said unless you are using a touch screen, it is useless and would recommend any one thinking of going to windows 8, not to. Stay with 7, or xp.
I needed a new laptop and W8 was so odd to me that I bought my first mac. W8 had no support for POP email - work arounds, yes, but...
