Default Anyone think the newtown shooting is fishy?

I am not a conspiracy theorist, but i was thinkng that something didn't feel right about these shootings, other than the obvious sadness of the loss of life. The article that i am linking asks some questions that were going through my mind during the coverage, like

What happened to the other suspects?( police tapes talk about one pinned down in the woods, and a kid being interviewed talked about he saw a guy face down in hand cuffs as they were being walked out)
Why havent we heard an eyewitness account?
Why is it that for the last three shootings (sikh temple, aurora, newtown) original accounts have multiple suspects then suddenly they dissapear without a trace and we are left with one crazy white guy?

Again these are just questions i have and have not had a good answer to,

I hope this stuff is just a coincidence

No..if anything you can blame the media in its quest to be the first to scoop the other networks and get the coverage....lost in all the commotion was the story that the shooter killed his mother who was originally reported as a teacher of the classroom of kids....Even this morning when Bill Hemmer from Fox News sheepishly reported that the original report was false, it was glossed over without even a how do you do...

look at what else was reported by various news wire services, everything from the twerp has Aspbergers,he had autism,he had personality disorders

But none of the media/news errors matter because it doesnt fit their narrative....and the prevailing narrative is "we need gun control" or some other similar mantra

I don't think there was a gov't conspiracy per se. However it is a fact that a person dressed in hunting camo was detained by police within a short time of the incident, thus the kid did see that. There is or was video of him being placed in a police car However being very familiar with the area it was probably an innocent hunter.

Fishy and diabolical. It is a left wing conspiracy. President Obama, and the other left wing commies are agents of North Korea. Modern day Manchurian Candidates. When our guns are gone they'll strike. A red dawn will soon be here. I’m all tired out from my militia training and it’s time for my nap, later.

I don't subscribe to a conspiracy theory here, but the WH is not letting a good crisis go to waste ... a spokesperson today (not sure if the radio said Carney or someone else) that the President will press for maximum gun control.

Makes me wonder about history ... that turning points can be the result of some wing-nut (of any political persuasion) going off on a tangent and causing very significant and long-lasting change in history. I doubt that Adam Lanza paid much attention to politics.

And then we have Boehner today offering up the millionaires as "sacrifice" ... here's a supposedly sane man who hasn't learned the previous lessons that when taxes are raised first, the promised spending cuts never materialize. And Boehner is intimidating those who oppose his "plan" (this is a plan?). Maybe he's not sane? How could he serve so long in DC and not have learned this bait and switch tactic?

Then the Hurricane Sandy bill, ostensibly to help the victims of same, is stuffed with all kinds of pork, that has nothing to do with helping the housing situation for those storm victims.

I'm beginning to agree with getting rid of anyone who has served in DC more than 6 years ... like start over from scratch. I'd let some of those newer fellas hang on for a while if they look salvageable, and if another term proves them to be so. Those that prove they've already been brainwashed should go in the next election.

The electorate thinks Congress is doing a terrible job ... so why do they (we) keep re-electing the same clowns?

I heard this theory from someone else. The other person said look at the gun runner blunder sending guns into Mexico. Do I think that we have people crazy enough to do this in "high places" in this country........You betcha. Don't know if it actually happened and since computers aren't yielding answers who knows. They need CSI on this one

I keep asking myself the same thing and the only conclusion is that folks like it they way it is. I think one needs to look at what the two biggest parties have gravitated to and one realized it is all about social issues. Its really not about the economy, Foreign Policy, deficits, the value of the dollar but the Socialist Dems vs the Religious Right Repubs. This country is in trouble and the folks that want to refrom the government haven't received much support in the past.
