    carolina - just curious were you out in cold water or just snow and cold weather

    When my guy got this I did the same thing you did and posted, I also called my vet. WIth rest it will get better. You are probably like me and worried about it and posting is a great way to get info.

    they will also experience pain and maybe have a hard time laying down.

    If a dog becomes prone to this condition I usually give a 1/2 a deramax before the hunt. Seems to circumvent the issue.
