    If you are going to actually use the originals, take Post # 6's advice. The residual acid in most paper products remaining from the manufacturing process will eventually damage the originals so acid free matting is important, and UV light is a terrible enemy of just about everything, especially printed matter, so either UV or even better "museum" glass is really a must for anything that is going to be displayed. I think that you could get very good results by using a high quality flat bed scanner and printing on high quality paper, then putting the originals in acid free archival boxes (available from Light Impressions, inc) and storing them in a safe place. I really wouldn't tear the pages out and have them laminated. Lamination is pretty much an irreversible process and you might come to rue that decision.
