Glad I came across this post, I thought I was the only one. I have two new puppies(BLF&YLF) and they both go crazy when I'm placing dishes in the dish washer. They see or smell the suds from pre-washing and run over each other to get to the dish washer. They'll try to sit on the lid of the dishwasher in order to get to the dishes.
The kitchen door has to closed in order to keep them away.
St. Thomas, the great doctor and theologian, warns about the proper use of animals, lest they appear at the final Judgment against us: and God himself will take vengeance on all who misuse his creatures.
Maybe Snopes would tell you differently but pretty sure soap was on a list of "products" that may make a dog seizure.
Discipline is no excuse for a lack of enthusiasm !!
I have one soap eater. I always tell people she had a dirty mouth in her past life which required a lot of soap licking. The worst place is when we stay at hotels and I have to do a soap sweep before I let her in the room. She will jump on a 4 foot counter with glasses, coffee maker, and other items to get to the soap. She was also a cat in another life because she did not disturb any of the items, but she got the soap.

That is weird, do they blow bubbles when they fart?
